Haldex is a Swedish company operating worldwide with offices in eighteen countries. Haldex develops and provides reliable and innovative solutions that improve safety, vehicle dynamics and environmental sustainability in the global commercial vehicle industry.
Cooperation between our companies began with Haldex outsourcing the so-called triangulation process which involves issuing internal invoices in one company and receiving and registering them as supplier invoices in another entity. Over the years the cooperation flourished and Haldex now utilizes EFF’s services in many areas within the accounts payable outsourcing process across the whole of Europe. The work we do ranges from manual processing of purchase order invoices and registering invoices into a workflow system to reconciling the intercompany accounts at the end of the month and serving as ad hoc consultants. The wide range of services also apply to the software we use – from MediusFlow, MS Dynamics 12.0 and MS Axapta 3.0 to a Polish ERP in the form of Sage Symfonia.
However, our partnership with Haldex did not end with their European entities. As the group implemented an invoice workflow system called MediusFlow globally we provided experienced consultants who were able to aid in the process for their Chinese entity. The project included external consultations and on-site work where we conducted training sessions on how to not only operate but also administrate the system. Thanks to this we were able to help introduce solutions that would increase automation rates while being adjusted to the local environment.
When introducing a new solution with the aim of achieving high levels of automation it is best to use the knowledge and experience of long-time users of the system who know how to optimally use its functionalities. This is what EFF offered in the case of Haldex China. Our consultants help to train new users and are always ready to answer any questions which arise when getting to know the system, making the transition as easy as possible. It is important to know that we not only offer carrying out the purchase-to-pay outsourcing solutions but we can also help to implement and develop them.
