Where this usually starts
Why international groups hand their ledgers to us
Every country closes its own books
Your group has entities in several countries, and in each one a different accountant does the closing. Nobody has the full picture in one place, and each consolidation starts with collecting the same information again from several providers.
The volume grew faster than the team
The volume of documents grows every quarter, the team is already at capacity, and recruitment has not closed the gap. Closing the month depends on overtime.
The group needs numbers your subsidiary cannot produce on time
Your parent company reports on a fixed calendar. The European subsidiary has to meet that calendar, keep its books under a local accounting standard, and report in a language head office works in.
We step in when local accounting is no longer enough. Whether you run finance across five countries, or you are opening your first European entity in Poland and need English-speaking support - we take over the reporting.
What we take over
Four areas of accounting outsourcing, run end to end
Payroll, VAT compliance and tax advisory sit alongside these four and can be added to the same SLA.
Statutory & Group Accounting
Keep every entity's books correct under its own local rules
Every country has its own accounting act and its own filing calendar. A group operating in five countries is effectively running five sets of rules at the same time, and that is where most of the compliance risk sits. We keep the books to each local standard and file what has to be filed, in over 20 countries.
General ledger maintained in Poland and abroad
Books kept in line with local & group accounting accounting and tax regulations
Financial statements and tax declarations prepared and filed

Purchase-to-Pay (Accounts Payable)
Keep supplier invoices moving and payments on time
A late payment costs more than the early payment discount you miss. It also generates reminders, and someone on your team has to answer them. We run the cycle from the moment the invoice arrives to the moment the payment file is ready.
Invoice registration, distribution and cost coding
Purchase order matching
Payment files, manual payments and tax payments
Handling reminders and chasing missing invoices
Travel and personnel expense processing
Intercompany reconciliation
Ready to scale? When your invoice volume grows, manual processing slows you down. We can help you transition to an automated AP workflow. We provide the technical setup and a transparent cost analysis, leaving the final decision to upgrade entirely in your hands.

Get paid earlier, in your customer's own language
We speak the language of your receivables. Our receivables team contacts your customers across Europe and beyond in their own language, early enough to clear up a disputed or unpaid invoice before it affects your cash position.
Registering incoming payments
Correct and timely invoicing
Monitoring receivables and pre-collection
Checking the credibility of your counterparties before you extend terms

Group Reporting & Control
Give the group one version of the numbers, whatever the country
Consolidation often fails on details: an intercompany entry booked on one side only, or a local statement that arrives after the group deadline. That is the part we take over.
Group reporting for consolidation purposes
Intercompany reconciliation
Identifying and resolving balance discrepancies
Support during audits and tax inspections
Tax advisory, risk analysis and expert rulings
Anti-money laundering documentation

What decides whether outsourcing works
How we eliminate recruitment, sick leave, and compliance risks
Books that hold up when someone checks them
We are ISO 9001 certified and an ACCA Approved Employer. Our clients' books pass statutory and group audits by the Big Four and local firms across Europe, Asia, and globally -including complex tax inspections.
A specialist team that never calls in sick
You get a full AP, AR, GL, and payroll team without the headaches of recruiting, training, or managing them. We handle internal backups natively. When someone goes on holiday or sick leave, your financial closing is never delayed.
A written division of duties, agreed before you sign
Who does what is set out in the Service Level Agreement, covering both scope and pricing. The scope is not locked. It can be extended as your needs change, and we review it regularly.
A named person to call
Every client gets a dedicated contact person, removing the anonymity of typical outsourcing centers. Our team works in 15 languages, so your local entities can talk to us in theirs.
One shared service centre in Europe
Instead of running a separate back-office in every country, you get one hub in Poland. You stay inside the EU, on your time zone, and within the exact same regulatory framework as your European entities.
Find out what it would cost to hand this over
The quote depends on how many entities and countries you run, and how many documents move through them each month. One conversation is usually enough for us to put a number on it.

Handing over the accounting, step by step
01
Free consultation and analysis
We look at where you are now: which entities, which countries, which systems, and how many documents move through them. There is no charge for this stage and no commitment to continue.
02
Tailored offer and SLA
You get a scope and a price built around what we saw, with the division of duties written into the Service Level Agreement before anything is signed.
03
Takeover inside your systems
We take over the process working on data from your systems. You choose where the migration of processes happens: online, at our offices, or at your own premises with our team on site. Many clients start by handing over a few processes and widen the scope later.
04
Ongoing service with a dedicated account manager
You get a named contact and an agreed reporting calendar. How we communicate is set to suit your team.
"We have transferred a large part of our AP processes to EFF. The transfer was very efficient and unbureaucratic. Thus we were able to increase the reliability and quality of our AP with the same number of employees."
Jorg Schulz, Sales Director, Haldex
What our clients say
"Across the years of working with EFF, we developed a fantastic professional relationship. Their services to us included AR and AP and I have to say, nothing was ever too much or too little for them to help us with. They were very efficient and knowledgeable, you could say I learned a thing or two from them! It was a pleasure to work with them."
Sophie Thompson
Payroll Specialist, Cloetta UK
"EFF quickly took over our financial administration, ensuring accurate and timely reporting while providing clear and insightful advice for our daily operations. As part of a large international corporation with high standards, we are confident that choosing EFF as our financial partner was the right decision."
Robert ten Berge
Group Controller, Stertil
„Collaboration with EFF is based on excellent communication, clear processes, and punctuality. Their support covers a broad range of services, from accounts and reporting to budgeting, analysis, and optimizing financial processes. Thanks to working with EFF, we've gained better control over our finances and streamlined our accounting operations."

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How does the takeover work, and how long does it take?
It starts with an analysis of where you are now: entities, countries, systems and document volumes. That gives us the scope and the division of duties, and both go into the SLA before you sign anything. You decide where the migration of processes takes place: online, at our offices, or at your premises with our team on site. You also decide how much to hand over at the start. Many clients begin with partial or hybrid accounting, keeping some processes in house, and widen the scope once the first cycles have run.
Which accounting and ERP systems do you work in?
We work directly inside your existing software. Our team operates across all major systems -including SAP (S/4HANA, R3), Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle NetSuite, Infor M3, and Odoo - as well as AP automation tools like Medius, Rillion, and ExFlow. We also support clients through complex ERP upgrades and migrations. Changing your accounting provider does not mean you have to change your software.
Once we start, who is responsible for what?
The division of responsibilities between us and you is set out in the Service Level Agreement and agreed individually before the contract is signed. We review it regularly so that it reflects changes in how you operate.
How is the cost calculated?
We price individually after the first conversation. What moves the number is the count of entities and countries, the volume of documents, and which processes you hand over. We prefer to see your figures before quoting rather than give a range that later turns out to be wrong.
Do we keep visibility and control over our data?
Yes. We work directly inside your existing systems, so your data never leaves your servers and your access remains unchanged. To protect your confidentiality from day one, we sign an NDA before our first consultation. Once we partner, all personal data is strictly secured by a separate processing agreement annexed to your contract.
In how many countries and languages can you support us?
We keep books for group and statutory purposes in over 20 countries, and our team works in 15 languages. That matters most on the receivables side, where a call in the customer's own language usually settles a query faster than an exchange of emails in English.
