    Reporting ESG

    What is an ESG report?

An ESG report explains how a company manages its environmental impact (E – Environmental), social matters (S – Social) and corporate governance (G – Governance). It allows stakeholders, including investors, to assess whether the company operates responsibly, how it manages non-financial risks and how it is building resilience in a changing business environment.

    Why report on ESG?

    • Meet regulatory requirements and market expectations – ESG reporting helps your company respond to the growing number of information requests from banks, investors and larger customers, particularly those operating within complex supply chains.
    • Manage risks and costs more effectively – Structured ESG data enables you to identify environmental and social risks at an earlier stage and make informed decisions that strengthen business stability.
    • Build credibility and trust – Transparent reporting demonstrates that your company operates responsibly and takes a long-term approach, strengthening its relationships with business partners and other stakeholders.
    • Create a foundation for growth and competitive advantage – An ESG report provides a starting point for developing a sustainability strategy and helps your company stand out from its competitors.

    CSRD-compliant ESG reporting

A CSRD-compliant ESG report is prepared in accordance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). It presents a consistent set of information on the company’s environmental, social and governance impacts, risks and opportunities.

The reporting process is based on a double materiality assessment. This determines which sustainability matters are significant from two perspectives: the company’s impact on people and the environment, and the effect of sustainability-related factors on its financial position and business performance.

The report describes the company’s sustainability strategy, business model and ESG objectives. It also contains measurable data, including information on its carbon footprint, and disclosures concerning the alignment of its activities with the EU Taxonomy. Together, this information demonstrates the extent to which the company operates sustainably.

ESG reporting under the voluntary VSME standard – a solution designed for SMEs

Do you run a small or medium-sized company and want to begin reporting on your sustainability activities? Or perhaps your company supplies larger organisations whose ESG data requests are becoming increasingly frequent? The VSME is the first European sustainability reporting standard tailored to the capabilities of SMEs and recommended by the European Commission. It focuses on key environmental, social and governance indicators, covering areas such as climate strategy, risk analysis, energy consumption, carbon emissions and respect for human rights. How can we help?

We help you identify the sustainability matters most relevant to your company and develop a clear, logical report structure that meets the applicable requirements.
    Collecting, organising and interpreting ESG
We support you in collecting and verifying ESG data, including carbon footprint data, and converting it into consistent, meaningful and easy-to-understand indicators.
    Practical ESG implementation and communication
We translate regulatory requirements into specific business actions and help you use your ESG report as a practical tool for building trust and competitive advantage.
