About cooperation with David Lloyd Leisure Limited
Our collaboration began in 2023, when the company introduced Medius software into its operations. With the new software came a need for support in processing order invoices, leading the company to partner with EFF.
The initial priority was to reduce the backlog of time-barred invoices at the Capture level, the first step in Medius where data is scanned from documents. Once this was addressed, our focus shifted to supporting the client through the remaining stages of invoice processing within the system. Working closely with the client, we provided ongoing guidance on how to streamline processes by leveraging the full capabilities of Medius.
One of our key tasks was to assist in automating the invoice scanning process within Medius.
Following the launch of new OCR tool we took on EFF services to speed up the initial capture process so that we could move quickly to touchless processing. EFF have certainly helped with this and more, using their expertise to provide insight and solutions that we would not have been aware of. They are also a real pleasure to work with, readily available and very responsive to calls and questions.

Results
Our team cleared the document backlog in Capture within a month of starting the project, and we’ve since maintained regular scanning of invoices. The volume of open order invoices in the system has significantly decreased. Additionally, the percentage of invoices processed automatically has steadily increased since our partnership began.
